We started Shamrock to help rebuild our Gulf Coast home back to the great place it was before Hurricane Katrina. In the immediate aftermath of Katrina it was apparent that there was simply not enough clean-up equipment on the Coast. There were many people who came from other places to help with the clean-up, but we knew they could not all stay forever. Someone who would be here for the long haul had to step in. With debris piled up everywhere and more being generated every day, we decided roll-off dumpsters would be the best way for us to make a difference. Our superior service quickly grew into high demand and customers began asking us to provide other services. Soon Shamrock was demolishing storm-destroyed houses and clearing land for our neighbors to rebuild. With the rebuilding our customers continued asking Shamrock to provide more services so in the summer of 2006 we purchased a portable toilet operation and overnight combined the two services required on every construction jobsite: roll-off dumpsters and portable toilets.
